Brad Barhorst brings nearly 30 years of leadership and customer service experience to our agency following a successful 28-year career as an automotive sales manager. A lifelong resident of Anna, Brad takes pride in serving the community he’s always called home. His passion for helping others and building trusted relationships made his transition into the insurance industry a natural fit. When she’s not working, Sara loves camping, being outdoors, and traveling to Florida—a favorite getaway for her and her family. Dan Purcell is a lifelong Oxford resident and a dedicated local insurance agent. He began his insurance career at Hatfield and Echo in 1980 and brings over 45 years of experience serving clients across Ohio and Southeastern Indiana. Dan’s extensive industry knowledge and commitment to personalized service have made him a well-known resource in his community. Outside the office, he has built an impressive coaching career with Talawanda and Badin, where his leadership and mentorship have earned lasting respect as well as a spot on the wall of fame.

Elijah Waters grew up in Batavia, Ohio, and has been an insurance agent since 2022. He is licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health insurance. Since he has started as an agent, Elijah has been mentored by Matt, Brad, and Dan, gaining insight into the industry through the combined 80 years’ experience offered by his senior agents. Outside the office, he contributes to his community by coaching the Talawanda Middle School wrestling team. In his free time, Elijah enjoys playing disc golf, spending time with his girlfriend, and enjoying local events.

Lisa Mustin serves as the office’s Customer Service Representative, a role she proudly assumed in 1990 following in her mother’s footsteps. Lisa grew up just down the street in West College Corner and built strong, positive relationships with clients through her dedication and friendly service as Hatfield and Echo’s CSR. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time participating in arts and crafting and listening to music.
